Van Helsing

Gotta remind both of you visitors, I'm not posting all masterpieces here. Just stuff I'm drawing at the time. Watching the bad movie "Van Helsing," which is made much more interesting with the DVD commentary, about how Kate Beckinsale's hair changes from shot to shot, etc.

I like it when filmmakers are a little critical of the film they're commenting on. However, it is a marketing tool, so they're not going to go full-on about how bad a certain actor was, or what a totally rotten experience making the movie was.

When I was an extra on "Timeline" I heard the director chewing out the actors, and saw a lot of the expensive stuff that was screwed up and had to be reshot (and the 2nd Unit Director fired), because, for instance, the smoke wasn't put into some scenes, and they didn't match with other scenes. Haven't actually rented that one, yet, for whatever reason, but I think my extra days are behind me. Unless they call again, and I'm doing nothing at the time. Of course, I'm supposed to be a genius writer, so I should be writing about all this, in places other than a blog.

Anyhow, this is Hugh Jackman as Van Helsing (without his trademark hat), and his nemesis (or alter ego), the evil (but pointy) werewolf.
