Psycho Cat

psychocat

The girl who lived next door, and looked like Betty Boop had a psycho cat. She's moved out now, but when she left the door open, her cat would come in here and terrorize my two placid cats. It didn't actually do anything, just stood there and screamed. But this was enough to upset my cats for hours. It also didn't like the girl's boyfriend. They've moved away today, but I'll remember that crazy cat.

I like this one a lot, especially since it had a story to go with it. That story would make a great segment of a short story or novel.

By the way, I'm in the middle of watching "Once Upon a Time in America". You inspired me to finally see it. So far it's really good, and pretty sexy. I might have to check out more of his movies.

Do you know what part was filmed in Canada?

Sherwin's the king of stories. He's also a brilliant artist, though that's not included so much in his blog.

These are a little more like self-therapy to me, but part of the reason for the blog is working them up, and seeing what's interesting.

I couldn't tell which section of the movie was filmed where, but we have areas that feel old and Jewish. Also bits that stand in pretty well for parts of Mew York.

I love gangster films, and of course Robert De Niro's great. Pretty good in "Casino," too, but Sharon Stone's brilliant in that one.

Also watched "Hochelaga," which was filmed around the corner here. A little simplistic in script, but utterly heartbreaking by the end.

I too, like films about gangsters, and about hit men (when well written). The Professional is one of my favorites.

And I love Sherwin's writing. Did you find my blog on his originally?

No, One can reach it by clicking through the names on the comments. But certainly I'd noticed your name on comments in Sherwin's blog.
